Niagara Falls is one of the most famous natural attractions in North America. It lies on the border between the United States and Canada and is formed by three waterfalls — the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Horseshoe Falls.

From the American side, visitors can approach the falls through Niagara Falls State Park and experience the sound, mist and force of the water at close range. The view changes from one observation point to another, revealing different sides of the river and the falls.

The scale of Niagara Falls cannot be understood through photographs alone. The continuous roar of the water, the spray rising into the air and the movement of the river together make the experience memorable.

Although Niagara Falls is not located within Buffalo city, it is one of the major destinations commonly visited from Buffalo.
